Wow - Look at me!

"What is an ePortfolio", you may ask?

An ePortfolio is a digital collection of work (evidence) that showcases learning or accomplishment over time.

The semester project for students in ED 510 is the creation of an ePortfolio showcasing their "mad technology skills".

Community Service Learning

Partnering pedagogies are GREAT for engaging students in the classroom. One example of partnering is community service learning.

K Wales presents a great overview of community service learning -

Engage, explore, explain, elaborate, & evaluate

The best lessons engage the students, allow opportunities for exploration followed by a great explanation. Students are then provided an opportunity to elaborate through exciting projects. Evaluation should be planned ahead of time and consist of both formative and summative assessments.

This is a GREAT example of a technology infused 5e lesson plan, written by K Wales.
