Teaching with Technology

Students in ED 305 have been learning about digital presentation best practices. Application of that knowledge is demonstrated in their most recent projects - creation of a digital presentation using Prezi and capturing that presentation using Jing.

Overall students did an outstanding job. Below are a few submissions that I would like to recognize for different reasons - as you will see in the bullets below each presentation.

Enjoy -

-          Great presentation voice

Management Strategies

ED 410/411 students have been gathering information and learning about strategies for managing classroom technologies. They presented their findings in a digital format of their choice. Grades were based on content, mode of presentation and creativity. Everyone did a super job on content and mode. Creativity - is a little harder. I think you will enjoy the following, for their creative slant.

Digital Citizenship

Students in ED 305 are learning about digital citizenship. To display their knowledge and understanding of this concept, students created digital lessons using SoftChalk.

While most students did a very good job, a few created outstanding lessons - Enjoy!

Flipping the Classroom

ED 307 students are learning how to "flip" their future classrooms. Students submitted their findings through self-created animated videos. Overall the content was AMAZING! These students really know their stuff!

I am featuring a few videos below - these stood out not because they are "perfect" - but because they were very engaging, due to the creative slant taken. Enjoy!

Technology Integration

Technology integration is being explored by ED 410/411 students. Findings were presented in video format. Overall the content was spot-on - however, the videos featured below "jumped" outside of the box and did a super job with creativity.

Digital Citizenship Websites

This week ED 505 students got started with summer semester coursework, diving right in by collaborating with peers to design and build a Website about Digital Citizenship. Students worked hard to meet deadlines - and create well-designed and informative sites.

Enjoy viewing the following sites - some may be missing a few of the project requirements, but overall are very good submissions.
